Straight from the Brazilian Amazon, Cupuaçu (pronounced koo-poo-ah-SOO) is a tropical fruit native to the Brazilian Amazon. It's part of the cacao family and loved across Brazil for its creamy texture and bright, tangy flavor.
Often described as a mix of pineapple and pear, cupuaçu is refreshingly unique and packed with natural goodness. While açaí brings a rich and earthy flavor, cupuaçu offers a lighter, more tropical twist. Just like our açaí, our cupuaçu is blended in house using our signature recipe.
Cupuaçu is becoming a new favorite in Brazil, and we’re proud to be one of the first cafes to bring this bold superfruit to our neighborhood in Pacific Beach, San Diego.
